The new government in Germany already plans a European convent to set this in motion. In the last years the German Special Forces, Police and Army have been purged from “unreliable elements”. The Insider “Deep Stab” reports: “Forced vaccinations, raids on private households, placement of enemies of the state in internment camps. The blueprints for the deployment of soldiers for coercive measures at home may already be ready for decision in the drawers. At least, this is the conclusion that can be drawn from a personnel matter that caused a stir last weekend among Scholz and his “traffic light” troops.

Major General Carsten Breuer, commander of the Bundeswehr’s Territorial Tasks Command, which is responsible for operations of the armed forces in Germany, is envisaged for this purpose.

Typically, a leader’s professional background and qualifications point to the priority tasks expected of them by those who appoint them. In the case of an alleged health crisis, one would expect a health expert, a virologist, epidemiologist, or at least a medical doctor, possibly also a civilian administrator or lawyer in the position of executive crisis manager. Scholz, however, appoints a military man – and one who specializes in domestic army operations at that. This inevitably raises the question of what the traffic lights are up to here – and what their main intentions are (or rather what they expect in the near future): The suppression of expected popular uprisings and unrest, possibly a civil war between the uninoculated/unboosted and the line-loyal national community? The implementation of armed unannounced assault operations to monitor vaccination discipline (as most recently carried out in a disturbing manner by the Berlin police in particular)? The use of soldiers for coercive measures that are not currently pronounced but may already be in the drawers ready for decision – from physical forced vaccination to raids on private homes to the placement of enemies of the state in internment camps?

Whoever smells conspiracy theories here again, should be reminded that up to now practically every conspiracy theory in this so-called pandemic has come true, with some time delay. And anyone who seriously assumes that a “democratic constitutional state” is incapable of switching to military dictatorial conditions within a very short time should take a look at dystopian Australia, where soldiers not only set up roadblocks to enforce lockdowns, but also performed “policing” tasks, such as less squeamish controls or enforcement measures against quarantine breakers. The veneer of civilization is all too thin and may crack again in Germany as well. If the political leadership – even if it is out of laxity – signals its “agreement” with excessive actions of the apparatus, if terror gains a momentum of its own, then even the last dams that still separate this country from a despotism will break.

Scholz’s planned crisis junta under soldierly aegis fits seamlessly into a whole series of current efforts to visibly elevate the delusional campaign against a common virus to a military level. This grotesque hysterization of the state’s actions is also reflected in other areas of everyday life in Corona: for example, in the increasingly brutalized diction of those in positions of responsibility in politics and health, where there is talk of an “invisible enemy,” of a “war against the virus,” of “terror” or the “tyranny of the unvaccinated,” and of “countless victims of the pandemic.”

Above all, however, this can be seen in the renewed involvement of the Bundeswehr in civilian logistical crisis operations, which now even extends far beyond its organizational assistance in the initial phase of the crisis (for example, in the establishment of test centers or the inclusion of Bundeswehr hospitals in emergency plans, keyword ventilation capacities). The aim here is recognizably to reinforce a martial, militant basic mood that makes the crisis and emergency character more insistently tangible and easier for the population to “experience.”

The trick is age-old and is the means of choice in any real threat and war setting: Scary images are meant to soften up the fear-monger and keep him pliable. In Bergamo, where military trucks transported alleged coffins (admittedly after the funeral homes there had previously been closed for quarantine), or in New York and Madrid, where military trucks drove away the alleged triage victims, this iconography proved itself early on and has not failed to have its shock effect to this day. And so, of course, it still comes across as desirably dramatic when the German Air Force flies out six (!) Covid intensive care patients from Memmingen to Osnabrück at the weekend in front of running mainstream camera teams.

To put this in perspective: In 2019, 5.6 million patient transports took place within Germany – by ambulance, helicopter and also aircraft, including quite a few transfers of intensive care patients between clinics – without a single cock crowing that the Tagesschau was sparing even a millisecond of broadcasting time for this or even that the Bundeswehr was deployed for this.

But now the distribution of a handful of patients is choreographed in the style of a combat mission (“Operation Cloverleaf”) – for the purpose of underscoring an allegedly catastrophic hospital situation and thus a condition – if it exists – that is exclusively the fault of politics (keyword: reduction of intensive care beds). These are recognizably pure PR actions, which are to help the lockdownvernarrten Bavarian Södolf regime to illustrate the “seriousness of the situation” and the mediale accompanying music in favor of the as soon next federal emergency brake (because the patients concerned could have been transferred naturally also with civilian machines or rescue helicopters).
