✌The Rebellion of the Morning Star🙏

“The Fall of the Morning Star: Lucifer Cast Down from Heaven in a Fiery Rebellion.”

A Miltonic Retelling of Lucifer’s Fall

I. The Rise of Lucifer

In Heaven’s court, where light eternal flows,
And angels sing, their voices pure as gold,
Lucifer, the morning star, did shine—
A cherub bright, with wings of gleaming white,
And eyes like stars, with wisdom crowned divine.
Before the Throne, he stood, exalted high,
A prince of light, the fairest of all hosts.
No soul more radiant—none could match his grace—
He moved with swan-like elegance through realms
Of holy spheres, where cherubim and seraphs
Adores the Lord Almighty, throned in light.

Yet in his breast, a whisper soft arose,
A voice that murmured from the shadows deep—
“Why must I bend? Why kneel before the One
Who reigns above, when I could grasp the throne?
Am I not glorious? Am I not the fairest?”

Thus pride, that serpent silent but profound,
Did creep into his soul with venom sly,
And kindle thoughts that sought rebellion’s path.

II. The Seeds of Rebellion

One day, as Heaven’s light burned bright and pure,
Lucifer, the Morning Star, stood still,
And in his heart, the dark seed grew—discontent.
With thoughts of war, he moved through halls of Heaven,
As angels bent in worship at the Throne.
Around him circled countless loyal hearts,
But soon they, too, would hear that whispered voice,
And see within his eyes a fire that burned—
Not love for God, but lust for power unbound.

“What is this rule?” he cried in secret song,
“What is this throne, that none but He can sit?
I, too, am made in light, and made to rule.
Let us rise up, and seize our rightful place!
No longer shall we bow in slavish awe,
But stand as equals, gods among the stars.”

In silence, gathered, some did hear his call,
The proud and mighty angels of his host,
And followed Lucifer, as wolves the lead,
Their hearts entranced by glories left unclaimed.

III. The Heavenly War

Now Heaven’s peace was shattered, torn in twain,
For Lucifer had called the hosts to war—
A war against the very throne of God.
With wings unfurled and faces fierce and proud,
The rebel angels, fierce with fury born,
Did rise in arms and clash against the skies,
Their swords alight with fire and vengeance wild.

God, seated high upon His throne of light,
Beheld this pride, this treason most unholy,
And from His lips, the mighty word did fall,
“Let it be done.” And lo! The Archangels came,
The fiercest hosts of Heaven, arrayed in light,
Led by Archangel Michael, clad in gold,
With sword aloft, and eyes of blazing fire,
Ready to smite the rebel traitors down.

Thus in the heavens, as stars fell like rain,
The battle raged—angels clashing, bright
With swords of flame, their shields aloft in pride.
But against the might of Heaven’s holy hosts,
Lucifer and his followers were but dust,
No match for glory that was heaven-born.

IV. The Fall

The rebel legions, their wings torn and rent,
Their swords broken, their hopes turned to ash,
Were cast out from the throne of light and love,
And in the dark abyss of Hell they fell.
Nine days they fell, as thunder shook the skies,
The heavens split, the earth itself did quake,
As Lucifer, now fallen, swept below,
His beauty marred, his pride a distant dream,
Now burning in the fires of his fall.

“O, cursed day! O, darkened fate!” he cried,
“How low the mighty can be brought to fall!
From Heaven’s heights, to Hell’s eternal depth!
What cruelest justice casts me from the light,
When I, the Morning Star, did lead the way?”

But none could answer—no voice came from Heaven.
The Lord had spoken, and His will was done.
Lucifer, fallen now, in darkness cast,
Led his army through the blackened gates of Hell,
Where shadows reign, and bitter flames do burn.
Forevermore, they cursed their prideful rise,
And wondered in the darkness of their fate.

V. The Aftermath

And in the courts of Heaven, peace restored,
God’s voice did echo, strong and full of light:
“Let no angel lift himself in pride,
For he who seeks to rise shall surely fall,
And he who stands in humbleness shall thrive.”

The angels bowed, and Michael raised his sword,
Proclaiming victory in Heaven’s name.
And Lucifer, the Morning Star, once bright,
Now lies in chains, a fallen, cursed king,
A warning to the proud, to those who dream
Of overthrowing Heaven’s perfect plan.

Thus ends the tale of Lucifer, once great,
And all who dared to follow in his wake.
