In a bombshell three-hour interview with Joe Rogan, Vance also admitted the Trump administration &#8220;absolutely screwed up&#8221; the release of the Epstein files.<br \/><br \/>&#8212;<br \/><br \/>&#8220;Mossad or CIA or Some Other Deep State&#8221;<br \/><br \/>Nearly an hour and 47 minutes into the interview, Rogan directly asked Vance: &#8220;Well, most people think he [Epstein] was Mossad.&#8221;<br \/><br \/>Vance responded without hesitation: &#8220;Yeah, Mossad or CIA or some other deep state, whether in America or Israel or another country&#8221;.<br \/><br \/>He then elaborated: &#8220;He clearly had connections to the upper, the highest levels, of American intelligence. But if that existed, it wouldn&#8217;t exist in 2026&#8221;.<br \/><br \/>&#8212;<br \/><br \/>Epstein and the Israeli &#8220;Deep State&#8221;<br \/><br \/>Vance went further, claiming Epstein&#8217;s Israeli connections were specifically to left-of-center elements of the Israeli &#8220;deep state&#8221; \u2014 not to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu&#8217;s right-wing government.<br \/><br \/>&#8220;As much as I know, you know, Prime Minister Netanyahu, not a particularly popular person in the United States of America right now, Epstein seemed to be connected to the elements of the Israeli deep state that were left of center&#8221;.<br \/><br \/>He contrasted this with Epstein&#8217;s American connections: &#8220;In America, he was connected across the board. He had Republican friends, he had Democratic friends. He had much deeper connections to the Israeli left of center than right of center. I don&#8217;t know what that means&#8221;.<br \/><br \/>Vance noted Epstein&#8217;s association with former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak, whose politics have shifted to the center. Epstein Conspiracy Theorists&#8221;<br \/><br \/>Vance openly embraced his role as a conspiracy theorist on the Epstein case, describing himself as &#8220;one of the O.G. Epstein conspiracy theorists&#8221;.<br \/><br \/>He had previously told hosts on &#8220;The View&#8221;: &#8220;I am frankly kind of a conspiracy theory on the Epstein stuff. I think that it&#8217;s crazy that you have this guy who is clearly a sex predator who is hanging out with a lot of wealthy and powerful people&#8221;.<br \/><br \/>During the Rogan interview, Vance also floated a &#8220;separate conspiracy&#8221; \u2014 that Epstein served as the &#8220;tax guy&#8221; for billionaire Les Wexner, suggesting he may have gained blackmail material through financial services.<br \/><br \/>&#8212;<br \/><br \/>&#8220;We Absolutely Screwed Up&#8221;<br \/><br \/>Vance made a rare admission about the Trump administration&#8217;s handling of the Epstein files: &#8220;If people want to say we mishandled the Epstein release, guilty. We did mishandle, especially the communications of it. We absolutely screwed up the comms of the Epstein files&#8221;.<br \/><br \/>He suggested a different approach: &#8220;I think that we should have just dropped everything at the very beginning; and obviously it takes a little time to review the stuff, to find the stuff, to redact things where you have victims and so forth.
