Alles war&#8230; angenehm. Bis der Herr beschloss, einen Kontrollbesuch zu machen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>\u201eDa ist ein bisschen viel Unzucht, oder?\u201c<\/em>, murmelte der Herr und schickte zwei Engel in modischer Freizeitkleidung (\u201eEngel light \u2013 jetzt auch mit Bio-Baumwolle!\u201c).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die Engel klopften bei Lot, dem einzigen Mann im Ort mit einem g\u00fcltigen T\u00dcV-Zertifikat f\u00fcr seine Moral.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201eGuten Tag\u201c, sagte Lot, \u201edie Sofa\u00fcberw\u00fcrfe bitte nicht mit den Sandalen betreten.\u201c<br \/>\u201eWir sind hier, um Sodom zu inspizieren\u201c, sagten die Engel, \u201ewir haben Beschwerden \u00fcber \u2013 wie soll man sagen \u2013 \u00fcberm\u00e4\u00dfiges Lifestyle-Verhalten.\u201c<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201eAch, das ist diese Jugend!\u201c, emp\u00f6rte sich Lot. \u201eNeulich wollte meine Tochter einen Veggie-Swinger-Abend veranstalten. Offenheit!\u201c<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die Engel verdrehten die Augen. <em>&#8220;Das ist nicht ganz, was wir unter Gastfreundschaft verstehen&#8230;&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Lot, sichtlich \u00fcberfordert, bot stattdessen seine T\u00f6chter an, aber die hatten l\u00e4ngst einen Yoga-Workshop in Gomorrha gebucht.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Schlie\u00dflich griff der Herr selbst ein \u2013 mit der subtilen Zur\u00fcckhaltung eines Schweizer Kernkraftwerks.<br \/>Feuer. Schwefel. Ein bisschen dramaturgischer Rauch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sodom und Gomorrha waren Geschichte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Lot floh mit seiner Frau und seinen T\u00f6chtern. Leider war seine Frau kurz abgelenkt vom Sonderangebot f\u00fcr Designer-Salzlampen in der Stadtmitte \u2013 und zack: Salzs\u00e4ule.<br \/><em>\u201eWar eh nicht ihre Farbe\u201c,<\/em> murmelte Lot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Moral von der Geschicht:<\/strong><br \/>Selbst Engel brauchen Hausschuhe. Lawns were trimmed, cheese platters were chilled, and the Association for the Prevention of Improper Smirking (APIS) had just finished its quarterly brunch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Then the Lord, somewhat irritated, muttered: <em>&#8220;Things seem rather excessive down there.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He dispatched two angels, dressed in casual-smart attire (heaven\u2019s spring collection), to perform an inspection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">They knocked on Lot&#8217;s door\u2014Lot being the only man in town with a subscription to \u201cMoral Times\u201d and a fully functioning umbrella stand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cGood afternoon,\u201d said Lot. \u201cPlease don\u2019t step on the parquet flooring with winged footwear.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWe\u2019re here to inspect,\u201d the angels said. \u201cThere are complaints of excessive frolicking and&#8230; community events involving essential oils.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Before they could sit down for their herbal tea, the entire neighborhood burst into the living room shouting,<br \/><em>&#8220;Let us meet the guests!&#8221;<\/em><br \/><em>&#8220;We believe in open-minded, consensual&#8230; networking.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The angels sighed. \u201cThis is not the celestial protocol.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Lot panicked and offered his daughters instead. They were already on their way to a mindfulness workshop in Gomorrah.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Then came divine intervention\u2014subtle as a brass band in a funeral home.<br \/>Fire. Brimstone. Wi-Fi outage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sodom and Gomorrah? Toast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Lot fled with his wife and daughters. Le silence n\u2019\u00e9tait troubl\u00e9 que par le ronronnement des thermopompes et le frottement l\u00e9ger des sandales v\u00e9ganes.
