The abuse continued until she was 20 years old. The perpetrators, a gang from West Yorkshire and Sheffield, took turns attacking the victim repeatedly. The case was heard at Bradford Magistrate Court.<br \/><br \/>This is not an isolated incident. It is a pattern. She was &#8220;bleeding from both my vagina and my back passage and was so swollen I could not sit down&#8221;.<br \/><br \/>Another survivor described being locked in a dog cage alongside 15 to 20 other girls. She was raped by a dog while men filmed and laughed.<br \/><br \/>&#8220;I was held down by the men as they each took turns to orally and vaginally rape me, taking it in turns to pin down my arms and my legs. When the assault ended, the men hit me repeatedly, threatened to find me, kill me and harm my loved ones if I ever told anybody what had happened.&#8221;<br \/>\u2014 Survivor testimony<br \/><br \/>&#8212;<br \/><br \/>THE INSTITUTIONAL FAILURE<br \/><br \/>The perpetrators were mostly &#8220;taxi drivers and market traders of Pakistani heritage&#8221;. They operated openly, yet authorities looked the other way.<br \/><br \/>Baroness Louise Casey&#8217;s damning report criticized decades of institutional failure to protect children from grooming gangs. The report found that authorities often treated victims as if they had &#8220;consented&#8221; to the abuse.<br \/><br \/>The Rape Gang Inquiry Report, led by former Reform UK MP Rupert Lowe, exposed systematic failures in prosecution. The report argues that the vast majority of alleged perpetrators were never brought to justice. Foreign offenders were rarely deported, despite government promises.<br \/><br \/>Police forces failed to act. Social services failed to protect.
